Isaiah Thomas Say's He Did Not Curse At Dennis Schröder's Mom
The beef began in the 2016 Playoffs. Both players went at each other and seemed to have a bit of extra fire than everyone else. That beef continued as on the weekend the Celtics played and beat the Hawks for the first time since the 2016 Playoffs.
Following the game, Schroder said the foul trouble got him out of rhythm. He was asked by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution about the trash talk with Thomas, including the third-quarter comments.
“I’m playing basketball,” Schroder said. “If he think that he got to curse at my mom or say some dumb stuff about my family, that has nothing to do with basketball. That’s his choice. I’ve got too much class for that. Next one, we are going to get it.”
Schroder’s comment was sent out on social media via Twitter by an AJC reporter.
Isaiah was not happy to hear what he referred to as "lies" and responded with a couple of tweets but mainly responded in the interview:
As Isaiah Thomas said, he would like to put an end of this and does not like Schroder receiving this much attention as he not at the same level of Isaiah. Will be very interesting to what happens in the next game between these two players as one thing that is coming great from this rivalry is great on-court duels.
